Yesterday, Saturday went, the journey starts. I first had come from Boston to NYC to Eva at JFK airport to pick up. For this purpose, presented itself again in the $ 15 Fung Wah bus. Unfortunately, the PATH station was located within the Penn Station, so that we with our bags then a few Block by New York City immigrant, only to get into the overcrowded train.
But after leaving, we were then taken by Max and Barbara in reception and went immediately on to Pennsylvania, where Eva and I had already booked a hotel - we were pretty exhausted at some point to 0 Clock to bed. Eva's day had already lasted since more than 24 hours since getting up in Erlangen and the trip to Munich for departure with a stopover in London.

addition to good Thai food and sightseeing was on the plan: Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, White House from a distance, the distance from the Capitol, Washington Monument, Reflecting Pool, and dozens of war memorials to all imaginable wars, attended by the Americans.
Two nearest two days, we will also spend more in Washington. The tourist areas here are very nice and comfortable, the bad neighborhood you do not see here, really. As you know this already, as you can get rid of the unpleasant things - in NYC since they were equally successful.
