Hi Sabine, a week ago I was photographed waving a friendly fellow pilgrims of Klaus and published for that date in the blog. As the text says, I've driven on the same day to Lyon from there with the fully air-conditioned € lines bus to Hannover back down, not without giving me a five-day flu capture, which is now in remission (luck?). Well begun for me was the Frodo-story with the narrative of a pilgrim on the German Ferme de Borgiraut out that reported by the Cologne pilgrims packed with his dog. I found it quite impossible, for other reports of my previous trips I knew that dogs do not like long marches. Nevertheless, the moment was awakened at my request, the two meet, but the probability seems low, since I "jumped" the next day by train to have a piece of track south Dijon to meet my brother to a little "docking" on mobile phones, for he was traveling by car. After I asked him to look on the Internet on the blog and me Frodo by SMS to confirm that it is actually Frodo and Klaus, I am moved southward. So you can imagine the so joyful surprise over
that grabbed me when I saw Tramayes turned the corner and lie there before the Syndicat d'Initiative a black dog with panniers! That for Klaus experience it was somewhat disconcerting must, as any caress a stranger's dog knew his name and then also with himself "Hi Klaus!" welcomed, of course I understand completely. Sure, he has my same "enlightened" have on my joy. After that we have again seen twice, a little less surprising as the first time, but still with great joy. That's about your image documentation can be expanded, I am sending you a photo I made in Charlieu in the marketplace, shortly after I discovered Frodo and Klaus, apparently in search of dog food ... For now the time to genügen.Da evident in the blog, a second Kurt seems to be among the regular readers, I was outed as a biologist (teacher), my posts from now on always appear "Bioghurt.
All the best and always healthy 6 feet wish you down there, close to Le Puy, EuerBioghurt
Here are two diary excerpts of pilgrims Andreas, intended to show how other pilgrims feel the way and of course, Klaus from the perspective of another person - extremely exciting! Thanks to Andreas for this insight into his private life pilgrim!

"In the morning at breakfast are joined by the man who goes by the name Klaus, and Frodo his dog to us. Both are on the road since Cologne and want to come as far as possible. We have to tell us much, we'll break up in sequence. Ernst
really want to take a railway museum and thus shorten the present route by 13 km. Today's stage is 31 km, after we posted yesterday + 29 km detour.
To get to the Museum station, we left the Cannertal and go uphill a bit. No train far and wide, the next to go until 14:30 clock - much too late.
So we first go on a dirt road and then a whole lot in the track - very anstrengend.Nach the next place we can get back on the road and there we expect Frodo and Klaus. Together we go a short distance, then we part again. Klaus is fit as a fiddle, because we do not mit.Zunächst we walk though on country roads - is through beautiful landscapes, but after Vigy it dull. Roads, power lines, scorching sun, no shade and the first foot problems at Ernst and me. More Ernst
jokingly holds out while walking the thumb. A white
he whizzes past us, Renault, increases in the iron stops, 200 meters, turn, come back and stops at our feet. That's still pretty nicht.Eine very cute young woman takes us to Metz - will probably have been an angel sein.Sie brings us directly in front of the cathedral. Our gratitude to receive them with the words, if it helps pilgrims, they would have come in heaven under a gut.Wir in the hostel and are very happy to explore the city and take our time. At 19:00 clock spin Frodo and Klaus in Metz, incidentally, we take them to the cathedral. Klaus makes a very finished appearance.
Later we meet us on a wine -. Abend.Leider until late in the morning our separate ways, as we have planned various stages "

" I have not slept so well because it no proper bedding only such a hygienic disposable stuff was. Oh well.
We have breakfast outside in the yard.
Then skip the events. With my innocent question - will you give me the time travel guide - the drama begins. Seriously changes several times the color. I have naturally nothing strapped - as it breaks out of it. I have not - you have it - I just wanted to say yesterday, remember that I take him. I've probably forgotten him in the hotel from Klaus.
What a bummer. We dachshunds go immediately to the hotel from the cathedral. Klaus is already gone. In the hotel are all very friendly, unfortunately no one has seen our guide
s or even for us down to the page. How could they, as it is cleaned up in the night someone and have it all disposed of.
No chance. Instead
times at rest a little think and to seek alternative ways we make ourselves a little disoriented on his way. In the university district of Metz, we extend our reach for the first time then more detours we fortunately the GR 5th The first leads us up the Moselle and then zig-zag uphill, passing down to each church. We have beautiful views of Metz come at the birthplace of Robert Schumann, by one of the architects of European unification, or stroll through the vineyards - but somehow it does not voran.Schön it would be if we knew where we are. Mentally we are down because of the disorientation and pain, the feet. Ernst has probably hit particularly hard. At Ars sur Moselle
we are definitely flat, we sat down for a coffee and think at last after sometime. Our common requirement: without a guide not a step more
alternatives: a buy - can call and somehow forgot his copy Klaus
And so we hear back from Frodo and Klaus. We arrange to meet at his hotel in Vandi, 15 km still slack.
No bus, no train, no taxi, we are going to run again and good cheer. Unbelievable what the mental condition ausmacht.Nach about 5 kilometers to reach us fast Aney sur Moselle, from there to ride a train at 1 ½ hours.
OK, as long as the thumb holds Ernst raus.Seine effect on women is probably enormous. After a short time a woman holds in our age with Suzuki jeep and transported us towards Vandi. The lady is a bit mixed up, drives like the devil and we have multiple physical contact with the oncoming traffic. Made it - around 17:30 clock we arrived in Vandi, Frodo and Klaus already sitting there with a beer.
'll be fine. "
Greetings from the Sauerland

Dear Mr. Grimm,
with great interest I am following your pilgrimage to Santiago. My mother, Wilma Röttgen has told me of your trip in early July and since then I read the blog entries and follow up with tension, where you are and what you experience on their way with Frodo.
I'm with a friend two years ago (incidentally, at the same date as you) in Pamplona on the Camino francés started and made a pilgrimage in three weeks up to Leon. These three weeks have been very impressive for me in many ways. First, I found the landscape in Navarre and La Rioja to another fantastic and I was this pilgrimage again a bit more to myself out. to provide a time for myself having to take responsibility for myself was in a long time a new experience for me. But the daily encounters with other pilgrims were very influential.
After my return at that time I had reported my children about the experiences and encounters, among others, an eleven-year old German boy who walked the entire Camino francés with his father. Then my son decided to Paul (then seven years old) spontaneously, me in my left leg (2010 or 2011) to Santiago to escort
en.
To ever get a sense of pilgrims are, Paul, my friend and I made a pilgrimage in the period from March 2008 to July 2009 by Uedorf to Trier. Initially, there were daily stages of Bonn, the Rhine river, mercury, Bad Münstereifel Blankenheim to where we are again in the evening drove home. At the beginning of the summer holidays we are then the remaining piece of silver went home to register at a time. My "shell", that is my backpack on my back and also the pilgrims daily life (walk, shower, eat, wash, sleep) were very quickly familiar.
For Paul it was of course a very special experience, with nine years every day stages 20-29 miles to run, but he was very motivated and us "old" far superior stamina anyway. On 10 July we got our (now) last pilgrimage temple in Trier, and there is also the attached photo in front of the Cathedral Information originated.
Many of your descriptions and impressions immediately call up memories: the heat radiated from the asphalt and the skiing is almost unbearable, the organization out front revisions etc (must be how much bread I buy for the next few days where I can fill up your wallet?) .
I wish you and Frodo continue "Buen Camino", good pilgrims weather, your feet and paws to get healthy for St. James and above all God's blessings on your way. And I look forward to some nice punches in Spain!
Greetings from the foothills,
Manuela Röttgen
